Sorry for the delay....

My apologies to all of you who come by periodically to see if I have updated. SURPRISE!!!! Your perseverance has been rewarded. I hope it was worth the wait. This is the latest piece I am working on entitled "The Moon's Daughter". It is one of 2 submissions for a multi-media collaboration called "Colors". All the participating artists chose a color to represent and were given free rein to interpret in any medium they saw fit. This will be a self-published book headed up by my good friend and talented artist, Shelli Hienemann. She is compiling the artwork from the participating artists all of whom are from IllustratedATCs.com , designing the format, publishing it, and hand-embellishing them for each of the artists involved. What a gal! My assigned color is blue. This image was a long time in the making; it manifested itself in all sorts of ways, until finally something I was happy with emerged. It's a little more whimsical than I am used to; there is always and element of un-cuddliness in my illustrative work (though you have to give it up for Shel and her bears - one of which is featured here - his name is Tucker), so something decidedly non-cute may wiggle its way in there eventually. Maybe a bat. I dunno...give me some suggestions.
